-Limit Max Speed to 55mph
-Slow Acceleration/Shift Near 2k rpm
-Coast to Red Lights and down hills in neutral.
-Maintain proper tire pressures and scheduled maintainance
-Cruise Control on Highways
-Car is clean of unnecessary items reducing weight.
-Turn off engine when stopped for longer than 2-3 minutes, train, boat, slow Mcdonalds, etc
-Know where you are going the first time, gps, map, etc
*****Saving Money on Fuel*****
-Use app like Gas Buddy to find the lowest priced gasoline around you.
-Use a Credit Card with cash back and even better with rotational 5% cash back at gas stations.
-Stack Credit Card on top of a gas station rewards program.
-Personally I have Discover and BP Rewards Card. I first use Gas Buddy to find the cheapest BP near me, then I use my BP rewards card to ensure I can get the fuel rewards from the fuel up, then I use Discover to get 1-5% cash back on my gasoline purchase. This is a very effective way to cut a small amount of money out of your fuel budget if you drive a lot.
