Suck it, Hybrids!

1993 Ford Festiva

GAS L4

Property of cowmeat Added Aug 2012 Location: Lakeland Florida

Beautiful red 93 Festiva, 5-Speed stick, boasting 1.3 liters of fuel injected fury, and is all stock including 12" stock wheels. Drive it daily 21 miles each way through central Florida traffic. Does 0-60 in . . .I dunno, it's never seen a highway since I bought it. Fill it up about every 9-10 driving days, and average 400 miles a tank. Bought it in June 2012 for $1,000 and it had paid for itself with the gas savings by that December. As of January 2014 I've driven this beast over 17,000 miles for less than 3,000 dollars, including the initial cost of the car, tax, tag, title, tires, oil changes, a side mirror, cat-back exhaust system, and all the gas I put in it. That's around 17 cents a mile total cost to drive this beauty, and the per-mile cost lowers with every day I drive it. If you drive a car getting 20 MPG, you're paying 17 cents a mile in gas alone . . .
