Redline 75-90 in the Differential (1.2Q). The drain totalled less than a quart even when the front end was jacked up. 5.25q of AMOQT with new Mann filter. The cabin air filters were really caked with soot, lint, and other debris. Carlos jr and I did the work for $50.

Got car back from Unique Unlimited today. Looks great. Bill, besides taking care of the front face plate, bumper,and grills, polished the headlight lenses, blew out the debris in the AC condenser, and sanded, polished, paint matched the under bumper. Front end looks new.

Bosch up and downstream O2 sensors installed by Black Forest (Likely Alex.) Randy said the rear chaffing noise is likely the differential. They also lubed the brakes to almost eliminate the squeaking.

Cleaned throttle body and plates. First time in a year. Air filter looks good. Oil was at 1/8th of an inch below full.

Powerflex rear subframe and differential bushings installed by Randy. Also Royal Purple Syncromax gearbox service, new right boot on steering axle, and brakes lubed (still squeak, though.) No shavings on the gearbox magnet. BERY NICE!

UOA came back. And it was stellar. The TBN after 10,800m was 3.7 and the analyst said it could have gone another 2k. The only wear metal to exceed the standard 5.7k interval change was copper and even that was negligible. Detergents were near new levels.

Carlos replaced the valve cover gasket, which blew and left the first three spark plugs in 2 inches of oil. Also installed new Bosch Iridium fine wire plugs and the acceleration is noticeably improved.

Changed coolant to BMW grey 50/50 and did oil change with AMOQT 10W-40 w/ Mann 7154x filter. Old filter looked great after 10,800 miles and oil still retained some translucence.

Flushed radiator 3 times today: First, with Royal Purple flush, second, with distilled water, and third, refilled with distilled and drove off with that in the tank. Also, patched a tear in the front passenger CV boot with a bicycle inner tube and zip ties.
